After years of waiting, it’s time to meet Frank Sheehan.
Martin Scorsese‘s return to his classic gangster roots has arrived in the official teaser to The Irishman, which stars the trio of Robert De Niro, Al Pacino, and the epic return of one Joe Pesci.
De Niro plays Sheehan, a mob enforcer for the Bufalino crime family, who claims to be involved with the disappearance of legendary teamsters union head Jimmy Hoffa.
Pacino plays Hoffa while Pesci plays Russell Bufalino. The film co-stars Anna Paquin, Jesse Plemons, Harvey Keitel, and Bobby Cannavale. Scorsese directed from a script by Steven Zaillian, based on the novel “I Heard You Paint Houses” by Charles Brandt.
The film is scheduled to debut on Netflix later this year.
