Major news has just hit the horror family as Buddy Cooper has announced that a sequel to his 1984 cult classic The Mutilator is coming!

The original film revolved around Ed and his friends, who during a break from college, find themselves hunted down and killed one-by-one by Ed’s grudge-bearing father, who went insane after Ed accidentally killed his mother when he was a kid. The film was an instant cult classic that still is hailed as one with a new generation of fans. With the amount of legacy sequels popping up, it is pretty exciting and shocking at the same time to hear that there is a sequel. With Cooper, the creator of the original, returning to the helm, we’re in for a treat.

Terry Kiser is starring in the film alongside Eva Hamilton (who is on the poster), Marco Reese Maldonado, Mark Francis, and Loren Swan as well as Ruth Martinez and Bill Hitchcock, who appeared in the original film.

The film is set for a release in 2023.
