David Howard Thornton has been making serious waves as Art the Clown in the horror hit Terrifier 2. However, on December 9, see Thornton in a brand new light in The Mean One, a new horror film inspired by Dr. Seuss’ How the Grinch Stole Christmas.

The spoof sees Thornton play The Mean One, who 20 years ago, unleashed a killing spree in the town of Niceville. Two of his victims were the parents of Cindy You-Know-Who. Flash forward to the present day, when Cindy returns to her hometown with one thing in mind: revenge and knowing full well what to expect, it happens as the Mean One returns to do another killing spree.

Krystle Martin, Chase Mullins, John Bigham, and Erik Baker co-star in the horror spoof, written by Flip and Finn Kobler and directed by Steven LaMorte.

The Mean One gets a limited theatrical release on December 9
