In this latest interview, I speak with Uruguayan filmmaker Maxi Contenti as we talk about his latest film, The Last Matinee. The film is a meshing of 1980’s slashers, Hitchcock-style tension, and Italian giallo films. The film revolves around a serial killer who preys on moviegoers in a theater during a rainy day in Monteverde. The film is now in select theaters and will be released on DVD, on Demand, and Digital on August 24 from Dark Star Pictures.

Thanks to Katrina Wan PR and Maxi Contenti for making this interview possible.
