Robert McCall is back and this time, he’s out for revenge!
After the 2014 original, Denzel Washington will return to the role of ex-CIA black ops operative Robert McCall, who has dedicated his life to help anyone in need. However, his life changes when his dear friend, retired CIA agent Susan Plummer, is viciously murdered. McCall decides to avenge his longtime friend’s death by any means necessary.
Melissa Leo, Pedro Pascal, Bill Pullman, Ashton Sanders, and Sakina Jaffrey co-star alongside Washington, who reunites with Antoine Fuqua on the film. Richard Wenk returned from the original film as the sequel’s screenwriter.
The Equalizer 2 is set for a July 20 release by Columbia Pictures.
