Mark your calendars for April 20, 2018!

Why? Because the Super Troopers will be coming back when the long awaited Super Troopers 2 will unleash to screens and if there is any indication from the teaser trailer, then fans of the 2001 original will be very very pleased!

Returning to the film are Jay Chandrasekhar, Steve Lemme, Kevin Heffernan, Paul Soter, and Erik Stolhanske of the Broken Lizard comedy troupe as the titular comedic highway patrolmen who in this installment, go to “war” not with local cops, but Canadian Mounties when they are tasked with setting up a highway patrol station on the border.

Lynda Carter, Brian Cox, Jim Gaffigan, and Marisa Coughlan all return from the original and are joined by Rob Lowe, Emmanuelle Chiriqui, Tyler Labine, Will Sasso, and Hayes MacArthur.

Chandrasekhar directed the film with the entire Broken Lizard team writing the screenplay and raising double the amount they asked for via Kickstarter. According to Lemme, the film’s testing received their highest rating to date.

Super Troopers 2 will be released to theaters on April 20, 2018 from Fox Searchlight Pictures.
