It looks like two former actresses from the CW are about to become the latest victims of the returning Jigsaw in the latest installment of the Saw franchise.

Saw: Legacy, which is the first new film in seven years of the horror series, is being executive produced by the original creating team of James Wan and Leigh Whannell. As for casting, it looks like Smallville‘s Supergirl, Laura Vandervoort and Reign‘s Hannah Anderson are the first to be cast in the new film. The duo of Michael and Peter Speirig will be directing the film from a script by Josh Stolberg and Peter Goldfinger, the duo behind the remake of Pirahna.

The film is looking to be released later this year from Lionsgate Films.
