With the recent shocking news of the passing of horror icon Tony Todd (Candyman, Final Destination) on November 6 at the age of 69, at the American Film Market, indie distributor The Horror Collective has announced that this January will get to see Todd in one of his final films.
The film, titled Werewolf Game, based on the popular party game Ultimate Werewolf, a group of strangers is thrust into a deadly game of deception and survival, with Todd’s character bringing an intense layer of intrigue. The film promises to immerse viewers in a suspenseful narrative where trust is tested, and no one is truly safe.
Joining Todd on the twisted game are Lydia Hearst, Robert Picardo, Bai Ling, Teala Dunn, and Cara Claymore. The film was written and directed by Claymore and Jackie Payne, the latter who wrote the screenplay. Todd’s final film has been confirmed to be the upcoming reboot Final Destination: Bloodlines, set for release sometime in 2025.
