

It’s going to be “Armageddon” for Kurt Sloane as he will face off against the iconic Scott Adkins in the final installment of the Kickboxer reboot trilogy.
Adkins has signed on to the film over the weekend will play the film’s lead villain Cesare. In the film, according to co-writer and director Dimitri Logothetis, Cesare will be responsible for the deaths of Kurt Sloane’s wife and unborn child, which leads Sloane to head to Burma/Myanmar and unleash his fury on the underground fight ring led by Cesare, whose brother happens to be that of Kurt’s teacher, Master Durand.
Logothetis describes Cesare as the leader of a sadistic cult, the Descendants of the Royal Elite Guard (REG) of Burma and his philosophy is learning through pain.
Alain Moussi will return as Kurt Sloane for what will be the final installment in the trilogy, which started with 2016’s Kickboxer: Vengeance and continued on with 2018’s Kickboxer: Retaliation. Shooting will begin in April in Biloxi, Mississippi. Adkins in the meantime, recently wrapped Skyline: Warpath opposite Iko Uwais and is currently working on Diablo opposite longtime friend Marko Zaror.
