It’s Thursday, so we present this week’s Trailer Watch.

We start with the official trailer to Scream VI, the brand-new tale of Ghostface, who this time follows the survivors of 2022’s Scream to the City That Never Sleeps, New York City. The film brings back Jenna Ortega, Melissa Barrera, Mason Gooding, and Jasmin Savoy Brown. Courteney Cox returns as Gale Weathers while Hayden Panettiere reprises her role as Kirby Reed from Scre4m. The film, directed by Radio Silence, will be released on March 10.

Jesus Revolution (February 24, theaters): In the 1970s, young Greg Laurie is searching for all the right things in all the wrong places: until he meets Lonnie Frisbee, a charismatic hippie-street-preacher. Together with Pastor Chuck Smith, they open the doors of Smith’s languishing church to an unexpected revival of radical and newfound love, leading to what TIME Magazine dubbed a JESUS REVOLUTION.

Joel Courtney, Jonathan Roumie and Kelsey Grammer star in the drama. Jon Erwin co-wrote the film with Jon Gunn and c-directed with Brent McCorkle.

The Long Dark Trail (February 21, Blu-Ray/DVD/Digital): Described as Stand by Me meets Midsommar, this is an unnerving new folk horror tale from writer-directors Kevin Ignatius and Nick Psinakis. After two impoverished teenage brothers manage to escape their abusive father, they embark on a treacherous and haunted journey in the hope of finding their estranged mother who has joined a sadistic cult, deep in the woods of Northwestern Pennsylvania.

Murder, Anyone? (February 3, On Demand/Digital): Two Playwrights are tasked with creating the next avant garde thriller; but as they write,the story comes to life and their own emotions and arguments begin to manifest on film. Based on the play by Gordon Bressack, the playwright’s son, filmmaker and WFG favorite James Cullen Bressack adapted the play into the film, which stars Kristos Andrews, Maurice LaMarche, Spencer Breslin, and Sally Kirkland.

Vampus Horror Tales (February 14, On Demand/Digital): Halloween night. Vampus, a gravedigger and body snatcher, is the guardian of the cemetery, a sinister being who has many secrets. He loves to read horror comics, and introduces us to four twisted tales of love, murder, and assorted horrific acts.

An Latinx anthology directed by the likes of Victor Matellano, Isaac Berrocal, Manuel Martínez Velasco, Piter Moreira and Erika Elizalde, the film stars Saturnino García, Nacho Guerreros, Félix Gómez, Elena Furiase, Erika Sanz, Montse Plá, Diego Arjona, Dunia Rodríguez, Federico Repetto, and Vicky Jorge

Ghost Town (March, On Demand/Digital): A drifter takes a job in a small town in 1877 Arizona. After a series of bizarre and horrifying deaths, he becomes the target of suspicion. Desperate to escape the noose, he is soon at the center of a supernatural mystery that plagues this town.

Written and directed by Owen Conway, the film also stars Conway alonsgide Eva Hamilton, Becky Jo Harris, Robert Sprayberry, Charlie Motley, Nathaniel J. Burns, Stephen Moran, Brittany Mae, Michael J. Harrelson, Daniel Weisgerber, Santiago Craig, Cameron Kotecki, and Kirt Barnes

Polite Society (April 28, theaters): A merry mash up of sisterly affection, parental disappointment and bold action, the film follows martial artist-in-training Ria Khan who believes she must save her older sister Lena from her impending marriage. After enlisting the help of her friends, Ria attempts to pull off the most ambitious of all wedding heists in the name of independence and sisterhood.

Written and directed by Nida Manzoor, the film stars Ritu Arya, Shobu Kapoor, and Akshay Khanna.
