There are some upcoming films that will take notice in various genres and we now have the trailer to some of these upcoming films. Here is this week’s Trailer Watch.


The First Fallen (February 10, theaters): Set in 1980’s Brazil, this film revolves around a group of LGBT+ people who find themselves dealing with the first AIDS epidemic in their homeland. Starring Johnny Massaro, Renata Carvalho, Victor Camilo, and Clara Choveaux. Written and directed by Rodrigo de Olivares.

Daughter (February 10, theaters/On Demand/Digital): A young woman is kidnapped and inducted into a bizarre family as their new surrogate daughter. As she navigates through this twisted dynamic, awful secrets about the past are revealed, leading to even darker implications about the future. Starring Casper Van Dien, Elyse Dihn, Vivien Ngo, and Ian Alexander. Written and directed by Corey Deshon.

The Other Fellow (February 17, theaters/On Demand): An energetic exploration of male identity via the lives, personalities, and adventures of a diverse band of men, real men across the globe all sharing the same name – James Bond. Directed by Matthew Bauer.


Free to a Bad Home (February 17, Digital): The lives of three strangers – a widow, a thief, and an addict – are terrorized by cursed objects and those that spread them. Starring Miranda Nieman, Jake C. Young, Olivia Dennis, Hayley Sunshine, and Roni Locke. Wrritten and directed by Scott and Kameron Hale.

Three Day Millionaire (February 21, On Demand/Digital): After being unfairly laid off, a gang of Grimsby trawler men carry out the heist of a lifetime. Starring Colm Meaney, Robbie Gee, Jonas Armstrong, and Melissa Batchelor. Written by Paul Stephenson and directed by Jack Spring.

Linoleum (February 24, theaters): Cameron Edwin, the host of a failing children’s science TV show called “Above & Beyond”, has always had aspirations of being an astronaut. After a mysterious space-race era satellite coincidentally falls from space and lands in his backyard, his midlife crisis manifests in a plan to rebuild the machine into his dream rocket. As his relationship with his wife and daughter start to strain, surreal events begin unfolding around him — a doppelgänger moving into the house next door, a car falling from the sky, and an unusual teenage boy forging a friendship with him. He slowly starts to piece these events together to ultimately reveal that there’s more to his life story than he once thought. Starring Jim Gaffigan, Rhea Seeborn, and Katelyn Nacon. Written and directed by Colin West.
