Meet your new General Thaddeus “Thunderbolt” Ross and his name is Harrison Ford.
Deadline reports that the Hollywood legend, coming off his final film as the iconic Indiana Jones, will play General Ross in two upcoming Marvel Cinematic Universe films: Captain America: New World Order opposite Anthony Mackie, Shira Haas, and Daniel Bruhl and the team-up Thunderbolts, starring Florence Pugh, Sebastian Stan, Wyatt Russell, Hannah John-Kamen, and David Harbour, and Julia Louis-Dreyfus.
Ford replaces William Hurt, who passed away in March 2022 at the age of 71 from complications of prostate cancer.
Both Captain America: New World Order and The Thunderbolts are set for 2024 release dates from Marvel Studios.
