After the film’s premiere at Austin’s Fantastic Fest, SYFY has released the promo for the remake of Slumber Party Massacre and the premiere date is set…October 16!

The film stars Hannah Gonera, Frances Sholto-Douglas, Alex McGregor, Mila Rayne, and Reze-Tiana Wessels as their slumber party is set to become a bloodbath thanks to the insane driller killer Russ Thorne, played by comedian Rob Van Vuuren. The film co-stars Schelaine Bennett, Jane De Wet, Reem Koussa, Michael Lawrence Potter, and Arthur Falko.

Danishka Esterhazy directed the film from a script by Suzanne Keilly, based on the 1982 slasher classic written by Rita Mae Brown and directed by Amy Holden Jones.

Slumber Party Massacre premieres on SYFY on October 16. Check your local listings.
