Bautista and Nanjiani Ride to Action in Trailer for “Stuber”

Dave Bautista, who last night officially announced his retirement from the world of sports entertainment, is once again getting a chance to showcase his penchant for action-comedy in the trailer for his upcoming film Stuber.

In the film, Bautista plays Vic, a LAPD cop who decides the only way to get his case completed is with the help of an Uber driver named Stu, played by Kumail Nanjiani, who only wants to keep his five-star rating. However, Vic’s case involves a very deadly killer.

Karen Gillan, Natalie Morales, and Iko Uwais co-star in the film, directed by Michael Dowse, and written by Tripper Clancy.

Stuber comes to theaters on July 12 from 20th Century Fox
