Get ready for another vacation at Hotel Transylvania.
Sony Pictures, coming off their Oscar win for Best Animated Feature Film with Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, has announced that there will be a fourth installment of the animated series, which revolve around Dracula, his daughter Mavis, human son-in-law Johnny, and their friends at a hotel for monsters.
The last installment, 2018’s Hotel Transylvania 3: Summer Vacation, made $528.1 million dollars at the box office, making more than the previous two films. Adam Sandler, Selena Gomez, Andy Samberg, Steve Buscemi, David Spade, and others are expected to return to voice their characters from the previous films.
While that is great news for fans of the film series, the sad news is that the film will not be out until Christmas 2021. At least that will give time to come up with a good story to follow up from the previous film.
So come 2021, come return to Hotel Transylvania with Drac and the gang.
