A mysterious entity takes over the life of a woman in the trailer to Clara’s Ghost, a Sundance Film Festival selection that will be released nationwide in December.
Set over the course of a single evening in the Reynolds family home in suburban Connecticut, Clara’s Ghost tells the story of Clara Reynolds who, fed up with constant ribbing from her self-absorbed showbiz family, finds solace in and guidance from the supernatural force she believes is haunting her.
The film is a family affair with Paula Niedert Elliott as the titular Clara, with her husband Chris Elliott and real-life children Abby Elliott and Bridey Elliott co-starring alongside Haley Joel Osment and Isidora Goreshter as the titular “ghost”. Bridey wrote and directed the film.
Orion Classics is releasing the film in select theaters on December 6, followed by a VOD and Digital HD release the following day.
