It’s been rumored, it was somewhat being confirmed, but he has made it official!

Daniel Craig went on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert last night to officially announce that he will step into the role of 007 himself, James Bond, one more time!

Bond’s next adventure is in development right now with Yann Demange as the frontrunner to direct the film. This will make Craig’s fifth and final outing as the secret agent. This will make him the third longest running Bond, behind the late Roger Moore with seven and Sean Connery with six.

He had apparently grown tired of the role, but confirmed to Colbert that he needed a break after Spectre and took his infamous “slashing wrists” comment out of context after it was revealed he was asked the question just two days after making the film.

More on Craig’s final Bond film as it develops.
