The children’s book series by Dav Pilkey gets the animated treatment by Dreamworks Animation and the trailer has finally arrived!

Ed Helms provides the voice of the titular character, who is the creation of two mischievous kids, George Beard (Kevin Hart) and Harold Hutchins (Thomas Middleditch). When they hypnotize their elementary school principal Mr. Krupp, something actually happens and Krupp soon becomes Captain Underpants, who is not as superheroic as he seems to want to be. Nick Kroll provides the voice of Professor Poopypants.

Captain Underpants: The First Epic Movie is due for release on June 2, 2017 from Dreamworks and 20th Century Fox.
