CJ Entertainment is bringing the action thriller Fabricated City to the United States beginning with screenings in Buena Park and Los Angeles this Friday followed by a release in select U.S. and Canadian cities on February 24.
The film stars Ji Chang-Wook as Kwon Yu, a professional gamer who finds himself framed for rape and murder. Sentenced to life in prison, Kwon Yu enlists the aid of his online teammates. However, as they dig into his case, they uncover a massive plot by a mysterious organization that that is hired to frame innocent citizens with crimes that are committed by the most powerful men in the country.
The film co-stars Shim Eun-Kyung and Ahn Jae-Hong. The film was directed by Park Kwang-Hyun.
This Friday, the film will screen at the CGV Cinemas in Los Angeles and Buena Park. On February 24, the film will premiere in select cities including New York, Dallas, Honolulu, Toronto, and Vancouver.
