Three simple words: it’s about time!
At the Governors Awards this past Saturday, the legendary Jackie Chan received an honorary Oscar for his achievements in film. He has appeared in films for over 50 years, beginning at the age of 7 with the 1964 film Big and Little Wong Tin Bar.
At his acceptance speech, Jackie thanked his wife and son, and even announced that it will be 40 years since he formed his famous Jackie Chan Stunt Team.
Lots of celebrities honored Chan at the event, in which alongside Chan, casting director Lynn Stalmaster, editor Anne V. Coates, and documentarian Frederik Wiseman all received honorary Oscars.
