Two veterans of the James Bond series of films will be teaming up on a new action thriller set for release next year.
Dave Bautista, who played hitman Mr. Hinx in the last Bond film Spectre, and Pierce Brosnan, who played Bond himself in three outings, will join forces for the film Final Score, to be directed by Scott Mann.
The film will revolve around an ex-military officer who must rely on his skills when he must stop a band of terrorists who have taken over a soccer stadium for a hefty ransom. The film co-stars Hong Kong actor Julian Cheung, Ray Stevenson, and Alexandra Dinu. The film was written by The Brothers Lynch and Jonathan Frank.
Bautista’s latest film, Kickboxer: Vengeance, was just released last week and will be next seen in both Warrior’s Gate and Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2. Brosnan will be next seen in I.T. this fall and will also be seen opposite Jackie Chan in The Foreigner, directed by Martin Campbell.
Final Score is currently shooting in London’s Upton Stadium, current home of the West Ham United football team. Next season, West Ham United moves to Olympic Stadium.
