Well, the actor behind the costume has been revealed and it is none other than…

Joe Mangianello has signed to play assassin Slade Wilson in The Batman (tentative title), the solo Batman film that will have Affleck play both Bruce Wayne and Batman in addition to directing the film and co-writing the film with DC Entertainment president Geoff Johns. Johns himself confirmed the news to The Wall Street Journal. As for whether we will see Wilson in Justice League, that’s not a definite as Johns did not reveal that particular news.

Nevertheless, it will be Affleck vs. Mangianello in The Batman, due for release in 2018 or 2019 from Warner Brothers and DC Comics.
