The latest film from The Martial Arts Kid director Michael Baumgarten is getting its world premiere on September 11.
Paying Mr. McGetty stars R. Marcos Taylor (Straight Outta Compton) as Tyrell, a man who wakes up with another woman with no recollection of what happened the night before. He soon faces the wrath of not just his girlfriend but the boyfriend of the other woman, a top crime boss, resulting in all hell breaking loose.
Don “The Dragon” Wilson, Anita Clay, Alissa Schneider and Demetrius Frazer co-star in the film, which features fight choreography by John Kreng. The film’s producers are Karen Kaing, Cheryl Wheeler and James E. Wilson. Baumgarten co-wrote the film with Adam W. Marsh, who collaborated with him on The Martial Arts Kid.
If you are in the Burbank, California area, Paying Mr. McGetty will have its world premiere at the AMC Burbank 16 theater at 12:30pm Pacific Standard Time on September 11, 2016. The AMC Burbank 16 is located at 125 E. Palm Avenue.
