Things are looking up for Tyron Woodley, who just recently won the UFC Welterweight Championship. He has just joined the cast of a major film currently in production.
Woodley has announced he will be shooting scenes in Spider-Man: Homecoming, with his role being kept under wraps. Woodley begins shooting Thursday in Atlanta, where he will co-star alongside Tom Holland, who plays the 15-year old Peter Parker and his web-slinging, wall-crawling alter ego.
Woodley has been in films for a few years doing both acting and stunts. He was recently seen in the Bollywood film Sultan and did stunt work for the upcoming Kickboxer: Vengeance. He has also been working on next year’s Fast 8.
Look out for Tyron Woodley in front of the screens in Spider-Man: Homecoming when it comes out on July 7, 2017 from Marvel Studios and Sony Pictures.
