The 2015 Andy Lau starrer Saving Mr. Wu will be coming to DVD and Blu-Ray in the U.S. on August 2 courtesy of the guys at Well Go USA Home Entertainment.

Lau plays the titular Mr. Wu, an actor in China who is kidnapped for ransom by a group of men led by Zhang Hua, played by Wang Qianyuan. The film is based on the 2004 kidnapping of Wu Ruofu, an actor who actually appears in this film as one of the cops in charge for the successful rescue. The Blu-Ray’s extras including the making of the film, which includes interviews with stars Andy Lau, Liu Ye, and Wang Qianyuan and director Ding Sheng; deleted scenes, and trailers for this film as well as trailers for Three, Kill Zone 2, and Firestorm
