Choi played Howling Commando Jim Morita in 2011’s Captain America: The First Avenger. Now, word has broke he has joined the cast of the upcoming Spider-Man: Homecoming. This time around, Choi will play the principal of the high school Peter Parker (Tom Holland) attends.

Choi joins Holland, Zendaya Coleman (as love interest Melissa), Marisa Tomei (as Aunt May), Laura Harrier (as an unnamed character), Tony Revolori (as Manuel), Michael Barbieri (as the recently cast Ganke, who originated in Ultimate Spider-Man), and Michael Keaton (who signed on to play the villain, rumored to be The Vulture).

Production is set to begin soon under Jon Watts with a July 3, 2017 release date set from Marvel Studios and Sony Entertainment.
