Last night on Jimmy Kimmel Live, the first trailer to the upcoming film adaptation of the Ubisoft hit game Assassin’s Creed was released and it looks hellaciously good!
Michael Fassbender stars in the film as a man who was to be executed but instead takes part in an experiment known as the Animus. The technology allows the user to see, hear, and feel the memories of his or her ancestor. The man becomes Aguilar, an assassin during the Spanish Inquisition.
Marion Cotillard, Jeremy Irons, Michael Kenneth Williams, and Callum Turner co-star in the film, directed by Justin Kurzel. Fassbender also served as a producer on the film, which was written by Bill College, Adam Cooper, and Michael Lesslie.
Assassin’s Creed is set for a December 21, 2016 release date by 20th Century Fox.
