A new horror film begins production this week from the brand new production house Erebus Pictures, which was co-created between WWE Studios and legendary rock musician Gene Simmons of the band KISS. The production house was created to bring more horror films.

The first film, titled Temple, is set to begin shooting under the direction of John Stockwell, who directed another WWE film, Countdown, and the upcoming reboot Kickboxer: Vengeance. The film will be produced by Simmons, WWE Studios head Michael J. Luisi, and Wesley Snipes, who will also be starring in the film.

Snipes will be joined by Anne HecheDave Annable, and WWE superstar Seth Rollins. The story, written by Matt Savelloni, revolves around a team of highly trained operatives who find themselves trapped inside an isolated military compound after its A.I. is shut down. The crew begins to experience strange and horrific phenomena as they attempt to uncover what killed the previous team.

Temple is due for release either late this year or early 2017 from Erebus Pictures.
