loki

When we last saw the mischievous character of Loki in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, it was in the sequel Thor: The Dark World.

Tom Hiddleston, who has played the role since Thor and played the main antagonist in the first Avengers film, will be returning to the role in the upcoming Thor: Ragnarok, which will bring back Chris Hemsworth as the God of Thunder and Mark Ruffalo as the Hulk and his alter ego, Dr. Bruce Banner.

Hiddleston recently talked with The Daily Beast and revealed that Thor: Ragnarok may actually be his last film as the God of Mischief. Hiddleston had this to say about his involvement in the film:

Thor 3 will be cool because I’ve not done it for four years. I love working with Chris. This will be my last time out of the gate.”

However, he was asked if this will mean he will not be involved in the next Avengers epic, the two-part Infinity War:

“I don’t know! Honestly, I don’t know. They haven’t got their ducks in a row yet. They make it up as they go along.”

One must remember, Loki did not appear in the second Avengers film, Age of Ultron. Meanwhile, look for Thor: Ragnarok on November 3, 2017 from Marvel Studios.

One response to “Could “Thor: Ragnarok” be Loki’s Swan Song?”
