The first trailer to the long awaited sequel to the 2012 crime thriller Cold War has been unleashed with some of the cast from the original film returning alongside the legendary Chow Yun-Fat, who looks to be playing perhaps a prosecutor.

Aaron Kwok returns to the role of Inspector Sean Lau, who faces another game of wits with his nemesis Joe Lee, played by Eddie Peng, who is serving prison time. In the middle of it all is Joe’s father, seasoned veteran Waise Lee, reprised by Tony Leung Ka-Fai. Returning from the original film as well are Charlie Yeung and Aarif Rahman. Longman Leung and Sunny Luk also return to direct the film based on their original script.

Cold War II is slated for a July 2016 release date.
