See the opening to the upcoming mixed martial arts drama Beast as the film will set to be released in theaters next Friday.

In the film, ex-MMA fighter Patton James (Daniel McPherson) finds himself back in the ring to get a shot at the title but first, he has to face his old trainer and his past demons.

Bren Foster and Russell Crowe co-star in the film, with Crowe also serving as a co-writer with David Frigerio. Tyler Atkins is at the helm.

Beast comes to theaters on April 10 from Lionsgate and Grindhouse Entertainment.
