On the heels that Scream‘s legendary voice actor of Ghostface, Roger Jackson, will be voicing Rabbit in the upcoming Winnie-the-Pooh: Blood and Honey 3, some sad news has emerged as to the actor who will play the physical embodiment of the new character.
Karol Stanisz, who was originally cast to play Rabbit, had to drop out due to scheduling conflicts. However, in the midst of his departure, a replacement has already been found. American actor Jacob Marshfield has been cast to replace Stanisz as Rabbit, who joins the returning Lewis Santer as Tigger, Marcus Massey as Owl, and Eddy McKenzie as Piglet. George Drogo takes over playing the titular Pooh after Craig David Dowsett and Ryan Oliva.
Scott Chambers will return as Christopher Robin and take over as director on the new film with Richard Stanley co-starring and writing the screenplay. Chambers and Rhys Frake-Waterfield will produce the film, which is set to begin production soon before the crossover Poohniverse: Monsters Assemble goes into production.
