It was originally rumored but thanks to Dread Central, it has been officially confirmed!
Roger Jackson, the voice of Scream icon Ghostface, will provide the voice of Rabbit in the soon-to-shoot Winnie-the-Pooh: Blood and Honey III, with Karol Stanisz set to play the physical embodiment of the character. Actor and stuntman George Drogo will take over the role of the titular Pooh.
Returning are Scott Chambers as Christopher Robin, Lewis Santer as Tigger, Marcus Massey as Owl, and Eddy McKenzie as Piglet.
Josephine Blazier has also joined the cast in the role of MoMo, who is set to be the second main protagonist alongside Chambers.
Chambers will also be taking over as director, with the previous films’ helmer Rhys Frake-Waterfield continuing as producer. Richard Stanley (Color Out of Space) wrote the screenplay and also appears in the role of “Balthazar”.
After shooting completes on this film, expect production to begin on the long-awaited crossover, Poohniverse: Monsters Assemble. On the release front, Pinocchio Unstrung is coming later this year in select theaters. ITN Distribution will release the film along with the other Twisted Childhood Universe films.
