Tonight, March 6, a legendary series will end its regular run, but it’s not completely over yet…

The Last Drive-In with Joe Bob Briggs will end its regular series run tonight after eight glorious seasons. When you watch the series, Joe Bob and co-host Diana “Darcy the Mail Girl” Prince have engaged in some witty conversations and facts about the horror films they aired on the programs, along with having occasional stellar guest stars.

In 2022, I decided to induct the show and its hosts into the Indie World Cinema Hall of Fame for their amazing output of independent and world horror films.

As I mentioned, it’s not over yet, as Shudder has announced four specials will be coming later this year to continue the trend beginning on April 24 with Joe Bob’s Wicked Witchy Wingding.
