Pinocchio is here and he’s getting Unstrung as Jagged Edge Productions has released the official trailer to the latest entry of the Twisted Childhood Universe aka The Poohniverse.

A dark coming-of-age reimagining of Pinocchio, this unsettling tale follows the iconic puppet’s disturbing journey toward becoming real.

The film stars Cameron Bell, Peter De Souza-Feighoney, Richard Brake as Geppetto, and Robert Englund as the voice of “Cricket”.

Rhys Frake-Waterfield wrote the directed the film with him and Scott Chambers producing.

ITN Pictures will release the film later this year.
