A while back, Millennium FX has revealed concept art for Tigger in the upcoming Winnie-the-Pooh: Blood and Honey 3 and fans were impressed with how the new look emerged.
Now, courtesy of The Mirror, the new look for Pooh himself has been revealed and fans are going absolutely wild for the new look. From the original film, where Pooh and Piglet’s actors wore masks from a Halloween online store, to an improved prosthetic make-up job in the second film, it is safe to say this is Pooh’s best look yet!
Millennium FX will be handling the special effects for the third film, whose budget has improved since the previous two have proven to be successful despite somewhat lower Rotten Tomatoes scores. The FX team was also responsible for Macon Blair‘s recently released Toxic Avenger reboot, creating the suit for stunt performer Luisa Guerreiro, who played the physical embodiment of the titular character with Peter Dinklage providing the voice and playing pre-Toxie character Winston Gooze.
George Drogo Montague will be the actor and stuntman who plays Pooh in the new film, following in the footsteps of Craig David Dowsett and Ryan Oliva.
Scott Chambers will return as Christopher Robin and will also take over as director with Richard Stanley credited as screenwriter. Shooting begins in May.
