It’s a deadly cat-and-mouse game in New Mexico in the trailer to upcoming thriller Blood Star.

In this gritty desert noir, a petty thief driving through the New Mexico desert becomes the target of a psychopathic small-town sheriff who views his badge as a license to prey on vulnerable women. Stripped of her phone, car and voice, she must rely on raw instinct and street-smarts to survive a brutal game of cat and mouse— and reclaim her power in a land where the law is just another form of control.

John Schwab stars as the crazy sheriff with Britni Camacho as his latest victim…or so he thinks. Rounding out the cast are Sydney Brumfield, Brandon Brown, and Felix Merback. Lawrence Jacomelli directed and co-wrote the film.

Blood Star is coming to VOD and Digital on November 25 from Quiver Distribution.
