There’s a new Deathstalker in town and his name is Daniel Bernhardt as Shout! Studios unveiled the official red-band trailer to the 1980’s sword and sorcery cult classic.

“Deathstalker is set in the Kingdom of Abraxeon, which is under attack by the Dreadites, heralds of the long-perished sorcerer, Nekromemnon. When Deathstalker (Bernhardt) recovers a cursed amulet from a battlefield covered in corpses, he’s marked by dark magic, which leads to dangerous assassins stopping at nothing to hunt him down. To survive the merciless onslaught, Deathstalker must break the curse and stop the rising evil like a true action hero.”

The new film co-stars Patton Oswalt, Christina Orjalo, Nina Bergman, and Paul Lazenby. The film was written and directed by Steven Kostanski (Psycho Goreman, Frankie Freako)

Deathstalker slashes his way in theaters on October 10.
