WFG RATING: A

A Fuzz on the Lens production. Directed by Michael Leavy. Written and produced by Michael Leavy and Jason Leavy.

Stars Linden Porco, Maren Altman, and Mark Holton.

While we await the next chapter in the horror franchise, producers of the Terrifier franchise bring us this short story that reunites two stars from 2018’s Leprechaun Returns.

Having survived the ordeal of the Leprechaun years ago, Ozzie is still plagued by nightmares of what happened. When he gets a visit from his estranged niece, he is overjoyed to see her. She has been studying about relics and hopes that her visit with Ozzie will result in something fantastic. However, Ozzie learns that things aren’t what they seem and an old friend has returned. One he never imagined seeing again.

This ten-minute short film is amazingly done by the Leavy Brothers with its execution in both story and SFX. While Warwick Davis will be forever bound to the titular role of Leprechaun, Linden Porco wowed audiences when he took over for Steven Kostanski’s 2018 “requel” Leprechaun Returns. He brought the charm and scares to the role and who better than for him to reprise the role in this short film.

Mark Holton, who played Ozzie in both the 1992 original and 2018 requel, returns for this one and it just seems Ozzie can’t catch a break. Holton is a very talented actor whose other iconic role may be that of Chubby in the Teen Wolf 80s films or even Francis, the bully of Pee Wee’s Big Adventure. Holton is perfect when it comes to the versatility of his roles and here, he once again finds himself victimized by the Leprechaun. The ending here brings some total shock value that will please fans of the franchise.

One can only hope Linden Porco will once again play the character in the next official feature film, but in the meantime, if you liked him in Leprechaun Returns, you’ll love him in this short film! See the film below!

One response to “Leprechaun Revenge (USA, 2025)(Short)”

  1. […] Holton brings grounded emotional vulnerability to Ozzie, a man undone by survived horrors. His performance—anchored in lived trauma—carries far more weight than expected for a micro-short. Porco channels the Leprechaun’s gleeful menace with flair reminiscent of Leprechaun Returns, and Altman holds her own as the niece whose motives unravel—creating emotional contrast and tension (WorldFilmGeek).
