On August 15, Red Sonja will be unleashed after the film was shot a few years ago.

Matilda Lutz takes on the titular role of Red Sonja, who is imprisoned by the evil duo of Draygan and Annisia, who plot to destroy the people of their kingdom. After an escape, Sonja unites a band of warriors to overthrow this duo before it’s too late.

Robert Sheehan and Wallis Day play Draygan and Annisia respectively and are joined by the likes of Martyn Ford, Rhona Mitra, Katrina Durden, and Trevor Eve. M.J. Bassett directed the film from a script by Joey Soloway and Tasha Huo based on the original characters created by Robert E. Howard and adapted by Roy Thomas.

Red Sonja is unleashed in theaters on August 15 followed by a Digital release date of August 29.
