After four teaser trailers, the official red-band trailer to the upcoming reimagining of The Toxic Avenger has finally arrived!

In the film, Winston Gooze has been working at the Garb-X factory for 13 years as their janitor. When he is diagnosed with a terminal illness, he attempts to rob from his boss after getting denied any form of help. When this is discovered, he is busted and thrown into a pool of toxic waste, which turns Winston into a mutant. Winston realizes that between his boss and the corruption is plaguing the city, he must become the thing he never expected to be: a hero!

Peter Dinklage takes on the role of Winston and voices the Toxic Avenger with stunt actor Luisa Gueirrero as the physical form of the character. Jacob Tremblay, Taylour Paige, Julia Davis, Elijah Wood, and Kevin Bacon co-star in the film, written and directed by Macon Blair; based on the original character created by Lloyd Kaufman and Michael Herz, the founders of Troma Entertainment, who co-produced this new film with Legendary Pictures.

Cineverse and Bloody Disgusting will be releasing The Toxic Avenger in its UNCUT, UNCENSORED form on August 29 in theaters.
