Check out the official trailer to Brute 1976 from the producers who brought you That’s a Wrap.

An homage to ‘70s horror cult classics The Texas Chainsaw Massacre and The Hills Have Eyes. Brute 1976 takes place in 1976, when Raquel and her girlfriend have car trouble and break down on the side of the road in the middle of nowhere. At the same time, a group of people are in the desert for a photoshoot. Soon, they stumble upon an abandoned town where a family of masked psychopaths reside.
The film stars WorldFilmGeek Hall of Famer Sarah French (who also produced), Adriane McLean, Gigi Gustin, Dazelle Yvette, and Adam Bucci. The film was written by Joe Knetter, who also produced with French and Marcel Walz, who also directed the film. Marcus Friendlander lensed the film with Robert Kern III serving as SFX artist.
Cinephobia Releasing will release the film in a limited theatrical release in August and will be followed by a VOD/Digital release on August 26.
