The latest teaser for Macon Blair‘s reboot of The Toxic Avenger features a villainous band in the vein of a specific Troma-tic group.

In this new teaser, we have some footage of a band known as the Killer Nutz, who are reminiscent of the Cretins of Class of Nuke ‘Em High. The teaser shows the band getting praised by Fritz Garbinger, the secondary villain played by Elijah Wood all before we see Toxie (Peter Dinklage & Luisa Gueirrero) unleashing hell at a music festival.

Jacob Tremblay, Taylour Paige, Julia Davis, and Kevin Bacon co-star in the film, which will be released unrated in theaters on August 29 from Cineverse and Bloody Disgusting.
