In this exclusive interview, I talk to indie filmmaker J. Horton (“Craving”) about his new film A Hard Place, which stars horror icons Felissa Rose and Lynn Lowry. In the film, a band of robbers escaping a botched job end up in the middle of a war between two monstrous factions, the day creatures known as the Guardians; and the night-walking shape-shifting Caretakers as an eclipse is set to put the two together in immortal combat.

The film will be released on VOD and Digital on May 27.

Towards the end of the interview, we talk about indie film producer Michael Mahal, who passed away earlier this week and his amazing impact on the indie film circuit. This interview is dedicated to Michael’s memory and I will be planning a tribute to him in the very near future.
