It’s time to meet Maura Campbell and Maggie Wagner, two aspiring actresses who try to overcome all odds to live their dream in the trailer to the new indie dramedy Maura and Maggie Get Callbacks (to play themselves).

The film revolves around the titular actresses who hold on to their acting dreams late in life with Wagner, whose uncle is Mark Rydell, the director of On Golden Pond and The Rose; and Campbell, a widow and cancer survivor, moving to New York City from a small New England town who finds herself in turmoil with acting being her outlet for happiness.

The film is directed by Tennyson Bardwell with the cast playing themselves. The film will make its world premiere on March 12 at 7:00pm PST at the Hammer Theater Center in San Jose, CA.
