Jackie Chan and Tony Leung Ka-Fai are reuniting after their appearances together in Island on Fire and The Myth.

The duo will star in The Shadow’s Edge, a police thriller to be directed by Larry Yang, who directed Chan in the well-received Ride On in 2023. The film will pit Chan and Leung respectively as a retired detective who returns to Macau and the leader of a band of criminals. Jun of the K-Pop boy band SEVENTEEN is set to play a gangster named Hu Feng, whose adoptive father is that of the role to be played by Leung.

Zhang Zi Feng, Ci Sha, and Zhou Zheng Jie are co-starring in the film. The film is scheduled for a release later this year.
