Daisy Ridley is going from a Jedi to a Cleaner.

Quiver Distribution has scored the North American rights to the upcoming action thriller Cleaner, starring Ridley and Clive Owen.

Cleaner is set in present-day London. A group of radical activists, led by Clive Owen, take over an energy company’s annual gala, seizing 300 hostages in order to expose the corruption of the hosts. Their just cause is hijacked by an extremist within their ranks, who is ready to murder everyone in the building to send his anarchic message to the world. It falls to an ex-soldier turned window cleaner, played by Daisy Ridley, suspended 50 storeys up on the outside of the building, to save those trapped inside.

The film is helmed by Martin Campbell (Goldeneye, The Foreigner) and is set in and around one of the tallest buildings in the United Kingdom. A February 21, 2025 release date has been set for release in select theaters.
