WorldFilmGeek Hall of Famers Alexander Nevsky and Joe Cornet are back in the Wild West, and they’ve brought some new friends in the official trailer to The Wide West.

Set in 1907, a Japanese Sumo delegation makes their first trip to the United States to meet with President Roosevelt. However, en route to Washington, D.C., they must make a pitstop in a town when danger starts coming.

Nevsky and Cornet team up with sumo champions Hiroki Sumi and Ichi along with Tatiana Neva on the film, written by collaborator Craig Hamann, based on actual events mixed with their flare of action.

The film is currently being shopped at the American Film Market. Thanks to Alexander Nevsky for providing the news. Enjoy the on-set photos provided by Nevsky.
