A protégé of Spike Lee, Stefon Bristol got his start as an assistant to the famed director and Lee would help Bristol produce his debut feature “See You Yesterday” in 2019. Bristol is returning to the director’s chair with Breathe, a tense atmospheric thriller with a sci-fi element to it. The film, starring Jennifer Hudson, Milla Jovovich, and Quvenzhane Wallis (Bristol even teaches me how to pronounce her name), is coming to theaters and Digital on April 26 from Capstone Global.
