I just wanted to take this time and thank you everyone for your amazing support this year. 2023 was quite the year for films and this year, I broke some major records. I watched a total of 170 new films in 2023 and I mean films that were released this year. In addition, I did a total of 117 interviews (the last 2 will be kicking off 2024).

I want to thank the amazing actors and filmmakers who I got to chat with, interview, and in some cases, keep in touch with. As a fan of films, I am proud to help you get your films out there and gain traction. I felt this year, I have become more comfortable in my interviewing style, as if we hang out at a pub or coffeeshop, and talk movies. Thank you for your supporting the blog and YouTube channel as well as the podcast, which was sporadic this year, but I will have more in 2024.

I also want to thank you fellow bloggers and “film geeks” who support the blog and everything. Along with the actors and filmmakers, it is you guys who help me keep going in this passion of writing about films. I also want to thank the PR companies who have connected me with the amazing films and people behind them as this could not have been possible without you.

As this will be my last day before taking the rest of the year off, I hope everyone has a very Merry Christmas and here’s to making 2024 an even better year!!!!

As an early Christmas gift, I am announcing the next inductee to the 2024 WorldFilmGeek Hall of Fame…or should I say inductees. They are a duo of amazing filmmakers mainly in horror and their talents are second to none! I am talking about…Jen and Sylvia, the Soska Sisters!!!

Have a Happy Holiday Season and see you again in 2024!

-Your Friendly Neighborhood WorldFilmGeek
